REQUIREMENTS

Senior Matric Certificate
Degree in Marketing/ Brand Strategy/ Communication/ Media
3-5 Years’ experience in a Sales or Business Development role
Valid drivers’ license & own reliable vehicle
Proven track record as an Account Manager preferably in the Retail, FMCG, Advertising or Media industry
Excellent communication, negotiating and solution selling skills
Proficient in MS Office
Resides in Durban or surrounding area

DUTIES OF THE ACCOUNT MANAGER INCLUDES (but not limited to):

Pitch, negotiate, and close bold, brand-building solutions that captivate clients and elevate their market presence.
Uncover new opportunities and consistently hit (or exceed!) monthly sales targets with confidence and drive.
Act as a strategic partner, deeply understanding client needs and aligning solutions that deliver real impact.

Own and grow a portfolio of key accounts, while actively hunting for exciting new business opportunities.

ZaPOP has an opportunity available for a hands-on go-getter who likes to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that the printing machines are managed effectively to guarantee that all print jobs are completed on time and at the best possible quality.  

Matric/Grade 12 with Maths Literacy
One year experience in digital printing (working on Mimaki, HP Latex and OCE Arizona machines would be advantageous.)
Knowledge of printer maintenance
Beginner knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word

Attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to handle pressure and deadline-driven
Ability to prioritise and take initiative
Self-motivated
Work independently and as part of a team

Prepare and operate multiple printing machines with different size and colour capacities
Prioritise print jobs according to printing capacity and delivery dates
Request printing material for the upcoming week
Match print with colour proof and ensure the correct substrate is used for each project
Perform ongoing quality control and monitoring of each print machine’s operation 
Make timeous corrections to avoid losses of substrate and ink
Perform routine maintenance as per schedule
Update each job card and reprint sheet (if applicable) on an ongoing basis
Conduct monthly stock takes on print material
Ensure health and safety rules are followed and that PPE is worn at all times
Ensure that the warehouse is kept neat and clean according to the cleaning schedule
