Rainbow
Rainbow was established in 1960 by the late Stanley Methven. What started as a stall in Durban has grown into the largest processor and marketer of chicken in South Africa.
Rainbow has four brands: Rainbow®, which offers fresh chicken, braai packs, polony, viennas and Russians; Farmer Brown®, which offers fresh chicken, spatchcock and crumbed chicken; Rainbow Simply Chicken®; and Rainbow FoodSolutions®, which supplies chicken to the foodservice industry and whose clients include KFC, Nando’s, Chicken Licken and Steers.
